Today I attended another workout session with Chad’s basketball athletes.  They start out with the SMART Stretch Technique and Dynamic Stretching.  The athletes then proceeded to do sprints and ladder work focusing on footwork and explosive lateral movements with a medicine ball.  Once again Chad is evaluating foot, knee, hip, back, shoulder, hand/arm and head position throughout the exercise.  Today Chad adds band work with a harness to do sprint work and cone work to the circuit training.  There is no bike work today because Chad finishes the session with a full court scrimmages with the girls basketball team.  What a workout session!  Chad’s athletes are already seeing results on the court.  Their speed, rebounding, defense, and vertical and lateral explosiveness have improved significantly from their first performance evaluation.  The athletes end with SMART Stretch Technique.
